PCH has previously owned shares in two Hungarian petrochemical companies: TVK and Borsodchem.

TVK’s main assets comprised of an integrated ethylene cracker (440 kta of ethylene) with polyethylene and polypropylene production with ethylene supplies to Borsodchem.

Borsodchem’s main assets comprised a PVC (400 kta) and isocyanates (250 kt of MDI and TDI) units, integrated with electrolysis.

PCH sold TVK and Borsodchem in 2006.
