Inertial navigation systems (TeKnol)

TeKnol was established in Moscow in 2003 by a team of scientists, engineers and investors.

Between 2003 and 2011, the company developed several strap-down inertial systems (platformless INS) on the basis of quartz- and gyro-sensors and G-meters. These systems and devices were used for autonomous position identification and space orientation as well as for dynamics tracking and path control in applications used in the air, on the ground and afloat.

During this period, TeKnol produced and supplied thousands of electronic devices and dynamics tracking equipment to customers across a variety of industries.

TeKnol developed its own patented equipment and techniques  including (inertial sensor fusion), algorithms, software and hardware engineering. TeKnol’s in-house algorithms and INS  also generated the best figures for accuracy-price ratio in the world.

INS of TeKnol was fully compatible with all the main satellite-based navigation platforms for devices’ calibration, position identification and path control provision.

TeKnol was sold to a strategic investor in 2011.
