Chemcor was established in 2007 at the industrial site of Korund, formerly the largest Soviet producer of PVC pipes and tubes (with an output of 4 kta of pipes).
Chemcor became the largest producer of PVC pipes and tubing in Russia (including the production of external networks of pressure and sewage pipes, drill tubing, pipes for water-intakes and process wells). Production capacity at Chemcor reached 20 kta with a potential increase up to 40 kta. This output met half of the overall needs of the Russian market.
In 2014, Chemcor acquired a plant for plastic compounds production. These compounds were used in the production of cables and cable coatings. The plant was located at the site of the industry park “Oka Polymer” in Dzerzhinsk. The capacity of its production was 68.7 thousand tons per annum.
Chemcor was sold, along with Korund, in 2021.
